Terms of Service

1. Who we are
TalkTrade is made by [Company name] Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [number]), at [registered address] ("we", "us"). Contact: support@talktradeapp.com.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
2. What TalkTrade is
TalkTrade is Windows software that journals your trades, records video of your trading, understands what you say, and gives spoken summaries and alerts. It reads your trading data; it never places, changes or closes trades.
3. Not financial advice
TalkTrade is a journal and coaching tool for your own habits. Nothing in TalkTrade, on this website or from our team is financial, investment or trading advice. Trading carries a high risk of loss. You are responsible for your own trading decisions and results. Prop firm rules shown in TalkTrade are estimates to help you; your firm's own dashboard and terms always decide.
4. Your licence
- When you subscribe, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use TalkTrade on up to 2 computers for as long as your subscription is active.
- You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse-engineer or share TalkTrade or your licence key, except where the law allows.
- There is no free trial. Your first purchase is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee (see our Refund Policy). If you are refunded, your licence stops working.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices are shown on our Pricing page; taxes are added where required. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
When a subscription ends, TalkTrade still opens your existing journal, videos and reports and lets you export them, but new recording and paid features pause.
6. Your data
Your journal, videos, recordings and notes are stored on your own computer, and you own them. Keeping backups is your responsibility; TalkTrade offers automatic backups to a folder you choose. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Recording
TalkTrade can record your screen, webcam and microphone. Only record where you are allowed to, and tell anyone else who may be recorded.
8. Third-party platforms
TalkTrade works with platforms such as cTrader, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, and news calendars from third parties. We aren't responsible for those services, their availability or their data.
9. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep TalkTrade accurate and working, but software can have faults. We provide TalkTrade "as is" and may improve or change features over time.
10. Our liability
We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, failed prop firm challenges or payouts, or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using TalkTrade at any time. We may suspend a licence that is misused (for example shared or resold).
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of the country you live in.
